About Me
I am a research scientist at DeepMind. Before that I briefly worked as the CEO of Dark Blue Labs. Before my move to industry, I was a postdoctoral researcher in Computational Linguistics and Machine Learning at the CLG in Oxford, where I also completed my DPhil, advised by Stephen Pulman and Phil Blunsom.
My doctoral thesis was on Distributed Representations for Compositional Semantics. My current interests are at the intersection of ML and CL. Particularly, I am interested in Natural Language Understanding, and am trying to make progress in this area through research on grounded language acquisition. [more]
I am not updating this page regularly; Google Scholar is probably the best way to get an overview of my current research agenda.
